About Dr. Sonia Martin-Campbell

Dr. Sonia Martin-Campbell holds a doctor of ministry degree from Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan University located in Rochester, New York. She acquired a master's degree in pastoral care and counseling from New York Theological Seminary in NYC. Dr. Sonia Martin has been actively involved in church ministry for more than forty years.


Dr. Sonia Martin is also a proud graduate of New York University, NYC, where she obtained a master's degree in social work. She is a NYS licensed social worker, with extensive experience working in child development, mental health, focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and discharge planning.


Dr. Sonia Martin-Campbell is the author of three books: Partners at War in the Home: Empowerment for Black Women Against Intimate Partner Violence, Warfare in the Home: Empowering Women of Color Against Domestic Violence, and Emergency Exits: Leaving Abusive Relationships Safely.
